Al Taqwa Masjid & Funeral Service Foundation also known as Al Taqwa Islamic Center is a nonprofit, nonpolitical, humanitarian, and charitable organization. We stand for standard of equality, humanity, and equality.

Located in 19,586 SF on 1.5 acres, Al Taqwa center will serve as the local Islamic center for daily prayers Masjid, Islamic school, and community Hall. We formed the foundation in 2016 with the goal of creating the center to help the local Islamic communities. Since then, we've been working nonstop to find a location that fits our needs and provide a permanent home.
We found & purchased the lot located in 1947 Gravois Ave in Saint Louis MO. The lot cost is $600,000. We made a $200,000 payment with $80,000 due annually. The lot has few infrastructures which requires repair and enhancements. The center worked with a specialized team to create a project plan for finishing this work. The center has an estimate of $500,000 construction cost. This includes roofing, bathrooms, HVAC, Islamic Wudu area, carpet, parking lot, security system and fence..
